Realism is the art movement that took place in France in the early 1850s. The goal was to capture te image of everyday people. Realism artists rejected the ideas of Romanticism and idealized Classicism. In art , Realism was the effort to categorize themes that were not based on religion or government. It had no interpretation or meaning.
